Service Opportunities
At Grace, there are many opportunities to serve our community and our members. Below are some ways that we do this.
Family Promise
We are a host congregation to Family Promise, a ministry to help families in need of housing. We host families in need a few times a year to help and support them.
Braille Workers
The Lutheran Braille Workers organization was formed for the purpose of producing Bibles for visually impaired individuals. Our church has a printing center that produces 10 Bibles a month. These are shipped to prison ministries around the world.
Quilters
Once a week we have a group who spend time together in fellowship and making quilts. These quilts are given out to people in need. All are welcome to join.
Disaster Relief
This group gets together and travels to places that need help from disasters. Our church has a trailer with equipment ready to go when we are needed. For more information, contact our coordinator.
Community Pancake Breakfast
The third Saturday of every month at 8am we meet to serve a pancake breakfast to people in our community. This is a free breakfast that we provide. Our volunteers only need to show up and do not need to bring anything. All are welcome to volunteer.
