Building Plans

On Sunday, February 14, after the Voter’s assembly finishes its business, there is going to be an opportunity for everyone to see the plans and renderings for our new building. The architect has been busy working with the city of Denison making the necessary tweaks and adjustments, and we should soon be able to proceed with the bidding process. If you want to know where we are and what’s happening, this will be your chance to find out.

Vacation Bible School

We had more than 60 kids at VBS June 15-19  hear how it all comes back to Jesus. We surpassed our Mission Offering Goal to support our Hong Kong Missionary, so the kids got to build sundaes on top Pastor’s and DD’s heads!  The video is below.

Intro to Youth Section

The Youth Group is for those entering 7th Grade through High School aged youth. We meet monthly for Bible Study, service projects and fun activities.

Intro Children

We want our children to know their Savior. We provide a variety of opportunities for them to worship, learn, sing and play here at Grace.

Every Sunday we provide classes for all aged children at 9:00 a.m.

During the School year we offer Wednesday evening activities for children aged 3 through 6th grade.

We also host Family events throughout the year.

Intro Small Groups

Where two or three are gathered in My name…

We encourage our members to gather together in small groups to read and study and discuss God’s Word, to spend time in prayer, and enjoy each other’s company. These groups are not just for our members, but for anyone who would like to be a part of them.

We currently have several small group Bible Studies meeting on at least a monthly basis. If you would like to join one of these groups or are interested in starting a new group, call the Church office – we’ll be glad to help you!

Michelle White

Michelle works part-time for Grace as our bookkeeper – she makes sure all the bills get paid!

Cheryl Mattil

Cheryl provides the musical accompaniments for our worship services.

Arlene Hale

Arlene will most likely be the cheerful voice you hear when you call Grace. She runs the office, preparing calendars and bulletins and keeps our records current. She and her husband Roy have been members of Grace since 1970. They have three grown daughters and seven grandchildren.

DD Pappas

DD oversees our Midweek Children’s programs, Vacation Bible School  and Family Events.

Michael Mattil

Pastor Mattil has served Grace since 1988. He is a graduate of Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. He and his wife Cheryl have 3 grown daughters and 3 grandchildren.
