About Us

About Us 2017-08-22T11:29:40+00:00

Our worship services are part of the Word and Sacrament ministry of this congregation. God comes to us in worship through these means, and we offer our praise to Him. In all of our services you will hear readings from God’s Word and messages based on that Word of God that speak to your life.  Holy Communion is part of all Sunday Morning services. In order to accommodate our members and guests, we offer Sunday services in two formats.

Worship Schedule

8:00 a.m. Traditional Service. For the most part, we use the liturgies and hymns from our heritage in this service.

10:30 a.m. Contemporary Service. This service will use a variety of formats and music.

Wednesday evening services are held at 7:00 p.m. during Advent and Lent.

Summer Worship Schedule

After Memorial Day weekend and through Labor Day weekend there will be only one worship service and that will be at 9:15 a.m. We will alternate between traditional and blended worship services during the summer.

Bible Class and Sunday School will be held at 10:30 during this period.

Starting September 10 we will return to our regular worship schedule:

8:00 a.m. Traditional Worship

10:30 a.m. Blended Worship

Grace 75th Anniversary

What is coming is better than what is gone!

Our Congregation is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year! We are planning four special events throughout the year to help us not only remember God’s blessings upon us in the past, but to think about how we can serve God and this community in the future.  Our first activity will be on February 26. We have invited Patrick Miller, a son of the congregation who entered the pastoral ministry, to be our preacher  on that day. THERE WILL BE NO EARLY SERVICE ON THAT DAY so that we can all join together in one worship event. We will have a potluck dinner after worship. Stay tuned for information about other activities.

Our worship services are part of the Word and Sacrament ministry of this congregation. God comes to us in worship through these means, and we offer our praise to Him. In all of our services you will hear readings from God’s Word and messages based on that Word of God that speak to your life.  Holy Communion is part of both services every Sunday. In order to accommodate our members and guests, we offer Sunday services in two formats.

Have kids? No problem!

A nursery is provided for children under 4 years old during Sunday School and the 10:30 a.m. Worship service.

Thanksgiving Worship

Join us for a Thanksgiving Eve worship service on November 23 at 7:00 p.m.  Everyone is invited to join us as we gather together for worship and direct our thanks to the one who gives us everything.

Prior to the worship, from 6:00-6:45 p.m., the kids attending Pioneer Camp next Summer (and their parents) will serve a home style turkey dinner to anyone who wishes to attend. Please sign up on the bulletin board by the mailboxes to let us know if you are planning to attend. An offering will be collected at the dinner to assist with the cost of attending Pioneer Camp at Camp Lone Star in LaGrange.
